Village & Panchayats In Faridabad
The District is the essential unit of the administration. The Collector/Deputy Commissioner is the top of the administration. The Collector is the central functionary of the State Government in the District and is the head organizing authority at the District level.
For managerial comfort, the District of Faridabad has been separated into the accompanying units:-

The littlest unit of administration is the Gram Panchayat. It works at the town level and is going by a 'Mukhiya'. The Panchayat takes care of the administration and the advancement of the towns.
A gathering of panchayats frames a square. The administration of each square is taken care of by a 'Samiti' of Mukhiyas of the comprising Panchayats. This Samiti takes care of essential wellbeing and schooling, creature farming, and horticultural improvement of the towns. The public authority delegates one Block Development Officer (BDO) for each square.
